I was so jazzed about this quad from when I ordered it to the first flight. It looks super bad a$$, I love the props on this thing and the Foxeer glass is a staggering upgrade to the clarity of any fpv lenses I’ve seen through so far. The accuracy and control (significantly improved by the QX7 from tarannis, but at about a hundred meters away or less, it failsafes and falls from the sky, for no apparent reason. I liked it so much I was sure it had to be a problem with the quad I had and ordered another before returning the first, the second one flew several hundred meters on the first flight but could not exceed that on following flights without the same fall from the sky problem. I love this quad and would love to make one or both of them work, is there an update I need to get or something or did I get two bad ones in a row? what’s up with the falling from the sky thing? it’s truly a big Captain bring down.

I got my third one in and it falls from the sky also.
I want an arris 220 pro build on the 250 frame, with a foxeer camera, and Tarranis controller w/r9m module, r9 receiver, all set up updated, tested, firmware flashed and confirmed by engineers there that it’s all working correctly. can you make that a product I can get on Amazon? you said you do custom orders how about that one?

    thanks RG560

RTF as advertised. Not much documentation, so had to be a little intuitive for pairing. (time sensitive paring also). Flys great! Super fast and handles well. The only problem, is that occasionally, it will just beep and drop out of the sky. I read some other reviews and I guess it is a failsafe issue.(common) Some people have gotten replacements that had the same problem. I will contact customer service today and I hope they have a fix for the problem. Thanks.
Well, since my original review, I have found some parks with no interference so I have changed my rating to 5 stars! Customer service got back to me pretty quick too and gave me some things to try. I guess this receiver is just super sensitive to cell/ antenna interference? at least it drops out of the sky instead of flying away!

So I got this yesterday and I could have not asked for a better first flight. The radio was completely setup and binded to the quad. I only had to mount the props and charge the battery. The Radio comes with a rechargeable 2s lipo which was a pleasant surprise. The quad is set up for three flight modes on one switch, arm disarm on another switch, and a third switch is used to activate the quad’s on board beeper so you can find it when it crashes. The rear lights do a good job of telling you the different status’ the quad is in. There isn’t a whole lot of documentation with it other then manuals for the individual pieces it took to build it so be somewhat familiar on how a drone operates so be prepared to figure out some of the stuff on your own. Its not too hard. This really is for somebody who has a little bit of experience with flying who is wanting to move up to the next level. I can not recommend it enough.
